First day as a substitute

I had been approved as a substitute over a month ago, and even made a business card.



However, I had not received any jobs.  Well, yesterday at 6:45 am I got the call.  They needed me in a 4th grade classroom at Sarah's school (not her class).  My internship experience was in Kindergarten and First Grade and 2 weeks in 3rd Grade.  I had volunteer experience in K-3rd Grade.  I had NEVER been in a 4th Grade classroom!  Needless to say, the day was great!  The students behaved (except for a few, who from my understanding act out every time they have a sub).  I even taught content!  Would I go back?  Definitely, yes!  :)
