Orange County Public Library Visit

We have been visiting the library each week, all summer long.  However, I decided to take the kids and Grandma to the main library, downtown.  This library was quite impressive.  It has 4 stories, which include a cafe, bookstore, card shop, computer rooms, a music and audiobooks section, and of course lots of books.  It has a children's wing that is huge, with a junior fiction portion of the children's wing that is the same size as our local library here in Oviedo!  Sarah and Josh were quite impressed.  Sarah was happy that they had a well stocked area of Sunshine State Books, and Josh was happy that they had an area of Space books.  The children's portion also had computer workstations, video games, and plenty of reading areas.  After visiting the children's wing, we made our way over to the Young Adult area, known as Club Central.  While this section wasn't as large as the children's wing, it still had a pretty large selection of books for Madeline to choose from.  Club Central is quite trendy with it's cafe style bar and booths, funky chairs, couch, tv, computer workstations, and study room.  While Madeline was browsing the aisles, Grandma took Josh and Sarah up to the 3rd floor to the library store where she bought each of them a book.

The big question of the day was this... "Why haven't we been coming here all summer?"

Madeline and Sarah found Jacob at the Library!
