Tallulah Falls Gorge

We trekked around the campground a bit this morning, then had Enterprise come pick us up so we could get a rental car.  We immediately went to the local fruit and vegetable market to get...fruits and veggies.  Went back to the motorhome to have yummy tomato sandwiches and then headed off to Tallulah Falls Gorge.  The gorge had the feel of a "mini" Yellowstone Canyon.  There are stairs to the bottom (about 1000). We didn't walk all the way down.  Too hot...and we saw the people coming back up, uh..no thanks!

After the gorge, we took a scenic drive around Lake Raburn and a few smaller lakes.  The houses along Lake Raburn were gorgeous!  Reminded me of Lake Windermere in England.  The road reminded me of our drive to the farm in Scotland.  I surely don't feel like I'm in Georgia!

We are now getting ready to eat the locally grown beans and potatoes.  Mmmm....mmmm!
