Today we drove up the road to the top of the mountain and saw a really nice view of the campground and surrounding area. We then drove 1.5 hours west to Murphy, NC to visit a friend of my mom. We had a yummy dinner in their quaint log cabin. On the way back to Dillard, we stopped at another overlook for a gorgeous dusk view of the mountains.
