Make-It Monday (results on Thursday)

Sarah has always been interested in cooking.  However, it doesn't happen often due to two reasons.  1 - our crazy schedules never allow her the time, or 2 - she decides she wants to make something at the very last minute.  Well, she has plenty of time to plan over the summer!  One of her favorite shows is Cake Boss.  She watched all of the seasons on Netflix.  Now, she wants to be a baker and make cakes!  She even has a whole pinboard on Pinterest dedicated to cakes.  She was very excited to go to our local Michaels and see a whole section of Cake Boss items.  Being the nice mom I am, I bought her some decorating tips, fondant, decorating icing, and a swivel decorator.  She went home and made a cake!  Not too bad for her first attempt!  And it's yummy too!

Today she is trying her hand at soup.  She wanted to make French Onion Soup from EPCOT's Chefs de France. (She's a bit obsessed with Disney food.  She could be called a Disney Foodie) It's simmering now.  I'll post the results later.  :)
