I had to get blood work done on Monday. It is now Saturday and I have a nasty bruise on my arm. I have never gotten a bruise like this from blood work. She found my vein right away and the process was quick and painless. The only thing I can think is that the blood was drawn from my left arm. I've never had it taken from my left arm before. It has always been my right arm as that vein is very easy to locate. It could also be bruised from the labor intensive work I did right after the blood draw. I laid patio blocks. Hmmm... note to self: If you are getting blood drawn, don't do anything afterwards!
