UK/Ireland Trip - Day 7 (Dublin to Waterford)

We left Dublin bright and early to head to Kildare, home of the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens.  We were able to see lots of ponies, mares, and studs.  Sarah said that she didn't like the stud as she didn't understand it. lol!  It was a little drizzly when we first arrived, but then the sun came out.

After Kildare, we went to Kilkenny where we were able to walk around Kilkenny Castle.

We then drove to Waterford and visited the Waterford Crystal Showroom and had a factory tour.

Finished vases.  Look very similar to a vase I have!

Sarah wants this Cinderella's Coach for Christmas.
It only costs €32,000, which would equal  $45,000!

Our evening was spent having a nice, relaxing dinner in the hotel restaurant, some play time in People's Park, and then feeding the swans along the canal with fellow travelers from South Africa.
