UK/Ireland Trip - Day 8 (Waterford to Cardiff)

Had to get up super early this morning to catch the ferry from Rosslare, Ireland to Pembroke, Wales.  The ferry was quite a bit larger than the first one and the day was sunny and beautiful.  Once on the ferry, we found a nice, long, padded bench with a window to sit during our 3 hour trip.  I will say that the day being sunny and beautiful was a bit deceiving as the seas were quite rough.  Walking around didn't go so well, and sitting still just made my (and Sarah's) head feel a bit off.  Thank goodness we found a long padded bench as we spent the majority of the trip laying down so we wouldn't get sick.  My stomach never felt nauseous, but my head sure felt weird!

Once we reached land...which I was thankful for, we made our way to Cardiff to visit Cardiff Castle.

We checked into our hotel.  Sarah was pleased to see that we had a suite, which meant she had her own room!

The view out of our room was of the convention hall across the street.  Lots of noisy pigeons really liked this area.

That night we had our fairwell dinner with the our tour group.  A great time was had by all!
